Webinar: Development and Use of a Robust Portrait of a Graduate
Topics
Today’s learners face a rapidly changing world that demands far different skills than were needed in the past. We also know much more about how student learning actually happens and what supports high-quality learning experiences. Our collective future depends on how well young people prepare for the challenges and opportunities of 21st-century life.
This December 2018 webinar hosted by Jenny Curtin of the Barr Foundation focused on the role of a portrait of a graduate in high school design efforts. It featured local stories from Jalen Epps, recent graduate of Duet and Matt Brunell, Co-Executive Director of the Springfield Empowerment Zone and national perspectives from Andy Calkins, Director of Next Generation Learning Challenges and Cynthia Leck, Partner at Transcend.
