Educators are taking the best of what we know about learning, student support, effective instruction, and interpersonal skill-building to completely reimagine schools so that students experience that kind of purposeful learning all day, every day.
The environment of support and care at Blackstone Academy Charter School in Rhode Island is foundational to the school's learning model. This publication explores various aspects of the school that make it both special and effective. It was prepared to support a virtual Learning Excursion for school teams of diverse stakeholders to learn more about Blackstone Academy and become inspired to redesign their own schools.
