Next generation learning is all about everyone in the system—from students through teachers to policymakers—taking charge of their own learning, development, and work. That doesn’t happen by forcing change through mandates and compliance. It happens by creating the environment and the equity of opportunity for everyone in the system to do their best possible work.
We invite you to take the “Next LEAP” for K-12 education with our newly united organization.
On March 2, 2026, LEAP Innovations and Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) announced that they have merged.
The Next LEAP for K-12 Education: LEAP Innovations and Next Generation Learning Challenges Unite to Accelerate Student-Centered Learning for the Age of AI
Guided by a shared vision for transforming learning in K-12 education, LEAP Innovations and Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) are joining together in order to expand our national impact and strengthen our ability to advance equitable student-centered learning at scale. This shared vision—that every student has what they need to fulfill their greatest potential and contribute to building a just, equitable, and sustainable world—is what the nation’s 55 million K-12 school students most need and deserve.
Together, LEAP and NGLC provide a coherent pathway for public education transformation, engaging students and educators as co-designers using human-centered, research-based practices to strengthen agency, deepen engagement, and personalize learning.
